The next Super Mario 3D Land could look like this, if Nintendo modeled it after the quirky second game in the original NES series. That’s unlikely, but if Super Mario Bros. 2 taught us anything, it’s that a fellow can dream!
This mock-up comes from @pokecapn, and is based on the clean version Bill Mudron illustrated without all the 3DS screen’s quirks (e.g. ghosting, lines, etc.)
